Sama Alshaibi has been selected as a Guest Artist for Residency.ch in Bern, Switzerland, for June 2026. Known for her multidisciplinary practice exploring themes of migration, memory, displacement, and identity, Alshaibi will join the residency’s international program of artists and cultural practitioners.
Residency.ch is a nonprofit association based at PROGR in Bern, founded by artists Peter Aerschmann and Sophie Schmidt with support from entrepreneur Hansjörg Wyss. It invites visual artists for residencies and fosters international exchange and collaboration with art organisations outside Switzerland.
