The NYU Abu Dhabi Art Gallery features works by Sadik Kwaish Alfraji in its exhibition All Manner of Experiments: Legacies of the Baghdad Modern Art Group.
Curated by Nada Shabout, the exhibition opens tonight, 11 February 2026. It brings together Iraqi artists connected to the Baghdad Modern Art Group, founded in 1951, which united a generation of artists and sparked a new push toward modernism in Baghdad’s art scene.
The opening will take place at NYU Abu Dhabi Art Gallery from 5–8 PM.
