Ayyam Damascus is proud to introduce for the first time Palestinian talented emerging artist Oussama Diab in a solo show showcasing his paintings that depict different subjects but hold the soul and dynamism of people's inner worries. Their happiness, sadness, ambitions, economical, social, political and love life. He puts his characters within white space arranged to suit their condition, a space that matches their worries. Through this creation he produces a space either in tune with the characters or rather strained and tense. Diab's paintings remain grim and grey though. He depicts screaming faces, dark monsters and frightening animals. For him, a painting doesn't have to be beautiful, what matters, is that it reflects his feelings. Vernissage: Ayyam Damascus, Saturday 3rd of October from 7pm-10pm
