Ayyam Gallery is pleased to present 10:52, a collective exhibition that commemorates the tenth anniversary of its founding. Highlighting all fifty-two artists who have had solo shows at its different locations in the past decade, this selection of works reflects Ayyam Gallery’s evolution as one of the leading art spaces in the Middle East and North Africa.

Ayyam Gallery is pleased to present Contemporary Uprising: Art from the Middle East, a collective exhibition of ten renowned artists from Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran and Saudi Arabia, from the 21 to 25 May 2014 at Nest Gallery in Geneva, Switzerland.

From May 19 - July 31, Ayyam Gallery, Dubai (Al Quoz) will present R-Evolution, a group exhibition providing an unprecedented look into the complex relationship of art and politics before and after the various uprisings throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

Ayyam Gallery Al Quoz, Dubai, is pleased to present 'Boya Boya Boya , a solo exhibition of new works by Syrian artist and filmmaker Ammar Al Beik, from 15 January – 22 February 2013.

From March 12 until April 26, the Ayyam Art Center will showcase the second edition of The Samawi Collection II, a museum-quality exhibition featuring over sixty works of art from the private collections of Khaled and Hisham Samawi. For its inaugural exhibition in 2011, Selections from the Samawi Collection displayed fifty carefully selected paintings from Arab artists traversing the region and spanning generations providing an opportunity for visitors to view the history and evolution of contemporary Arab art.

Ayyam Gallery Damascus will proudly unveil Oil Leaks, a series of new installations by the artist and filmmaker Ammar Al Beik. Coinciding with Nassouh Zaghlouleh’s Trance, which will be on display in an opposite section of the gallery, Oil Leaks, is comprised of six works, Maradona Vs Bush, Demopublicans, No War for Oil, Trickyleaks, Awaiting for Grendizer, And the Cooper Stumbled.

Then What? 1965 – 2010 is an exhibition that illustrates the direct (and indirect) furthering of Kayyali’s committed spirit in nearly a dozen works by some of the Middle East’s most influential artists. Drawn from the Samawi Collection of Art, which contains over 3,000 outstanding modern and contemporary international works and has a special influence on the Middle East, these superb examples of Arab art span over fifty years. Together they demonstrate the many ways in which Kayyali and a handful of his colleagues paved the way for the fashioning of a socially conscious milieu in regional art.

From June 26 until August 5, Ayyam Gallery Damascus will proudly present two coinciding events: Metallica, the solo exhibition of artist Tammam Azzam and Colored Earth...Black Chainsaw (2010), a new installation by photographer/filmmaker Ammar Al Beik.

On May 13, 2010 Q Contemporary will present A Small Wedding the solo show of Syrian artist and filmmaker Ammar Al-Beik, which will run for three weeks. Highlighting a series of enigmatic works, the event will reveal another side of the artist, one that has been hidden for sometime. A prominent Arab photographer, Al-Beik is recognized for his striking subject matter, his experimental use of medium, and his intuitive approach to creating powerful visual narratives.

From May 8 – June 30, Ayyam Gallery Dubai will present its second Shabab Uprising exhibition, a showcase highlighting 10 of the most critically acclaimed emerging artists working today, including painters Thaier Helal and Kais Salman and photographer/ filmmaker Ammar Al Beik.

Ayyam Editions at Ayyam Gallery-Damascus presents in this exhibition limited edition prints by two famous Syrian artists: Painter Safwan Dahoul and Photographer & Filmmaker Ammar Al Beik.

From February 19 to April 19, Ayyam Gallery Dubai will proudly present Shabab Uprising, an exhibition featuring a selection of work by some of Syria’s most consummate young artists.

Ayyam Gallery, Dubai has gathered some of Syria's finest contemporary names from its formidable stable of artists for a group exhibition which will feature a vast variety of media. Some of the artists express themselves in shades of black and white, while others opt for colour. The show is an expression of both and will include paintings and photographs that cover different subjects, styles and techniques, all drawing on colour or monochrome. The six artists on show will be Khaled Takreti, Safwan Dahoul, Nassouh Zaghlouleh, Ammar Al-Beik, Asaad Arabi, and Youssef Abdelke. The exhibition is in essence six solo shows brought together by the theme of Black versus Colour.

During the summer season and with "Damascus Arab Capital of Culture" that's running through the year 2008, Ayyam Gallery is celebrating this event by highlighting Syrian art and artists under Contemporary Syria collective exhibition. A collection of 150 artworks by Ayyam emerging and established artists and also by old masters will be showcased all along the summer. New exhibited works each week.

Ammar Al Beik is a photographer who comes from another place. Neither traditional subjects tempt him, nor do familiar aesthetics mean anything to him. He rides his thoughts - ideas to take untraveled roads, to his own place.
