Samia Halaby is included in 1970s: Women and Abstraction, a collective exhibition that highlights pioneering abstract painters. Featuring a diverse roster of international artists, the exhibition is curated by art historian Barbara Stehle, PhD for Zürcher Gallery New York. Women and Abstraction is on view from 16 November until 22 December 2016. 


Halaby is represented with works that demonstrate her early experiments in geometric abstraction, and were created while she was an associate professor at the Yale School of Art.
