We are excited to announce that Sama Alshaibi will be giving an artist talk at the Leyburn Library on Monday, 25th of September.
Don't miss the opportunity to hear her discuss her work and how she uses photography, video, and installations to challenge Western ideas of Eastern cultures.
Sama's work often situates her own body as a site of performance in consideration of the social and gendered impacts of war and migration. Her work is currently on display in the Leyburn Library gallery, in “We Love Life Whenever We Can”.
