Dubai— On October 29, Ayyam Auctions will proudly present an exciting evening of two consecutive sales. In an unprecedented event, the latest installment of its highly popular Young Collectors Auction will be followed by the first ever Dubai Sale, an astounding selection of painting and sculpture by some of the Middle East’s most accomplished artists.

Coming on the heels of its highly successful Beirut Sale, which was held in July and yielded over $500,000 USD among nearly 50 lots, the Dubai Sale represents the next phase of Ayyam Auctions’ mission to offer some of the region’s biggest names to an ever increasing number of collectors whose refined sensibilities are shifting towards the Arab world and Iran.

Together, these rousing auctions will read like a virtual history lesson of the development of Middle Eastern art over the last century—from an early Syrian pioneer who worked under Ottoman rule in the Dubai Sale to some of the most sought after contemporary artists in the Young Collector’s Auction.
